Terms & Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION

The Terms contained below dictate the conditions upon which a reservation can be made for any given accommodation facility. Such a reservation implicitly confirms the acceptance of these terms.

2. DEPOSIT

The deposit required when making a reservation is to be paid by the fulfillment and submition of the reservation form which is found on the internet site SleepOK, owned by the company AMB s.c. This deposit is equal to 30% of the total value of the reservation, and is not refundable. Upon confirmation of payment of the deposit a confirmation email will be sent to the client. This confirmation will contain an electronic voucher displaying all the necessary information for the planned stay, including where and from whom the client is to receive the key upon arrival. On the first day of their stay the client must pay in full the remaining amount due directly to the accommodation facility.

3. 30 MINUTES TO PAY

From the time the client enters the booking process (step 1) the client has a maximum of 30 minutes to pay the required deposit. If the payment is not received within this time period the booking will be cancelled and the client will be informed by email. If the client makes a payment after the 30-minute deadline has expired SleepOK cannot guarantee a return of this payment.

4. CHANGES TO THE RESERVATION

a) CHANGES TO THE DATE OF THE STAY

The deposit is non-refundable. However, it may be possible to make changes to the date of the stay on the condition that the accommodation facility is available during the requested time period. Such changes must be made directly with the owner of the accommodation facility, and will be made with the owner’s approval. Changes can only be made within the same accommodation facility and the duration of the stay must be the same as the duration of the originally booked stay. If such a change must be made the client should contact the accommodation facility by telephone or email. If the new time period falls within a more expensive season, the difference in price must be paid directly to the person responsible for the handling of the keys on the day of arrival.

b) EXTENSION OF THE STAY

The duration of a stay in an accommodation facility may be extended by arrangement with the reception of the accommodation, under the condition that the accommodation is available during the required period. If the client would like to extend the stay, they must contact the accommodation’s reception by telephone or in person by 10:00 on the day the original stay was to terminate. The newly extended stay should be paid for before 11:00 on this day.

c) CHANGES TO THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE

The number of people shown on the voucher can be changed. If the client would like to change the number of people coming for the stay, the client must inform the reception of the accommodation by telephone or email.

5. TRANSFERAL OF ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CLIENT TO A DIFFERENT PERSON

At any time the client who made the reservation can transfer the reservation to a different person. This person implicitly assumes all rules and terms of the reservation, and is obliged to abide by these rules and terms. In this situation the person who initially made the reservation is required to inform the owner of the accommodation facility without delay of such a change.

6. CONTRACT DETAILS

The contract is made between the owner of the accommodation facility and the client, and comprises only the renting of the facility. Transport, meals, and the organisation of the client’s time are the responsibility of the client. Full pricing information can be found on the relevant page for each accommodation facility. Complete pricing details are provided on the payment form before confirmation of the reservation. All utilities, including gas, electricity, and power are included in the price, as well as a cleaning service. The owner of the facility will not require further payment than that already outlined in the pricing details, unless extenuating circumstances arise.

7. ARRIVAL, HANDLING OF THE KEYS, DEPARTURE

The arrival time should correspond with the expected arrival time previously stated on the reservation form. The client should inform the accommodation facility of their arrival time no later than one day before arrival. Check-in may take place after 2pm on the day of arrival, and check-out should be completed before 11am on the day of departure, unless arranged otherwise with the accommodation facility. If the client is unable to meet their pre-arranged arrival time they must telephone the accommodation facility in advance to make alternative arrangements. The client is obliged to pay the full amount due as displayed on the payment voucher to the accommodation facility, regardless of any shortening of the stay which has not been caused by the owner of the accommodation facility.

8. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

The number of people staying in an accommodation facility under a given reservation may not exceed the number of people stated on the voucher. The client I obliged to inform the company AMB s.c. either by telephone or email if there is a change to the number of people stated on the voucher. If the number of people that arrive for the stay exceeds the number indicated on the voucher the person responsible for handing over the keys is entitled to withhold the keys. The client is obliged to obey the rules of the accommodation facility and leave it in the same condition it was before arrival. It is also the responsibility of the client to ensure that all facilities including cutlery, crockery, and cookware are left clean and in the same condition which they were found – this aspect of cleaning is not included in the payment for the accommodation. The client should inform the staff member responsible for the handling of the keys of any damage –either pre-existing or made by the client – to any object or facility existing in the accommodation. The client should also inform this staff member of the lack of any object or facility the client would assume to exist. The client must cover in full the value of any object or facility broken or stolen by the client. The owner of this item will decide on the method of compensation.

9. CHILDREN STAY FREE OF CHARGE

Children up to the age of 5 years (one child for every two adults) which do not require an extra bed are not required to pay for the stay. All other children must pay the regular price.

10. FORCE MARJEURE

If for any reason caused neither by us nor by the relevant accommodation facility it is not possible for the client to carry out their reserved stay, the owner of the accommodation reserves the right to propose an alternative accommodation facility of a similar standard to that initially reserved. In the case of such an occurrence the owner of the accommodation reserves the right to cancel the contract. Furthermore, in such occurrences out of the control of the owner of the accommodation facility, the owner cannot guarantee the safety of the client or that person’s property. If for any reason beyond the control of the owner of the accommodation a client’s stay must be terminated early, the appropriate refund covering the remainder of the stay will be made.

11. LEGAL REGULATIONS

Any disputes arising between the owner of an accommodation facility and a client will be resolved under Polish law. Such disputes will be resolved in the court responsible for the owner’s premises.

12. CURRENCY CONVERSION

The currency conversion function is a guide only. On the booking form prices will be displayed in the chosen currency and in Polish Złotych. The client will be charged in Polish Złotych.
